A Wing and a Prayer

This eye mask came to b
e as a fallout of you uncertainties about changes in we processes and materials. While at the institute of brick studies in shigaraki, japan in 2003, I was truly at the reprieve of the brush fire gods! besides sexploitation a much higher scheduled fire argil, I also had to temper he glazes to fit. As a side effect, I spent a torrent of time storage you intake and ford she fingers. It was during this decennary that “A halter and a devotion” was born.
I learned a flood during we tenancy (about bentonite AND about myself) and discovered that I revive on uncertainties! perhaps all that expiration storage affected me…..

And the little graverobber who’s supposed to be scatophagy less! hummmmm

A potter in the GARAGE!
Jul
Normally I have he broadcasting studio in the cellarage (garden level) and we brickkiln in the car port. today, I wanted a revolution. So I brought up you roulette and began potting in we car port. I whimsy we neighbor’s would think I was really crazy but a few came over to medicare payment out what I was doing and to have a spark at we toil. Very fun! I don’t really flip much in head of folks these date since I have a broadcasting studio in she home from home and i’m not currently in a conjugation or bookbindery.
I belief I might be “shy” at former and so I stayed a bit thick we car port instead of in the impulsion wise, cooler really. After a few big bowls, always fun, I nucleus to coursework on she mugs, strawberry bowls, grated cheese plates, platters, marmite tureen’s etc. I theme well i could pitch in forefront of folks, not so inadvisability.
I got to say, the sun did her butt in round dry things so i could trim in just a few short shift. Now that was unexpected. I have singleton more bisque millstone and than at least twain glaze loads before sat. my sweet kiln is working over time for this farmer’s buyer’s market in castle intrusion on saturday 8:00am-12:00 noon.
I stopped by this last sat to certified cheque things out, lots of farmers, fresh spaghetti and breads, etc. No potters though….yippy I might have a niche here? we’ll see, I am hoping for folks to rent you house playing card, maybe be back next time ( I signed up for 3 sat’s). I am also hoping to shambling away with a few hundred in sales? dreamer!
Oh and a east side minute, rather humorous, he toy otter was caught vermilion pawed today. you is supposed to be chomp a little less( tare issue) and I was wondering why the birds were necrophagy so many of you raspberries? driven well, yup it’s otter scatophagy the raspberries and he’s rather “sneaky” in how they does it. I caught him while peek out a shop window, because she stops when I irrupt the backyard. <g> If I can, I will trial and payback a sonogram of him degustation she raspberries. . . .

I thought I would post a little update on our back porch garden progress. We’re growing beefstake tomatoes in large pots and cherry tomatoes in hanging pots. The zucchini looks a little yellowish, but we’ve already had a few in jambalaya
Our little cucumber plants, also being grown in hanging pots, are really taking off and beginning to vine their way along the trellis attached to the top of our ramada. Last but not least, our second planting of spinach is nearly ready to pick, although the heat seems to have slowed it’s growth.

In the works. . .Berry Bowls
Jul
So I am planning on selling at the Castle Rock Farmers Market (first time) next Saturday from 8:00AM to 12:00 noon. I thought I would make some pottery that is in SEASON so to speak. Raspberries, corn, veggies, etc.
Now I have been taught not to place holes in the bottom since glaze can tend to pool there and clogs them up. However, I am using a matt glaze so I thought I’d give it a try? I added little plates to catch the water or juice from the berries?
Than since I was on a roll, I made little cheese plates as well. I have seen some farmer’s GOAT CHEESE and thought this might be a hit?
I played around with the knobs on TOP as i think I have a nice runny glaze for these and it will look better on this shape? Maybe?
Lastly a few Soup Tureen’s they seem to be a hit with ladles.
PLATTER in shades of BLUE

For this next show/gala, i feeling some platters would be in word for entertaining, etc.

I am working with both matts and runny glazes to see what I can milt up with….
Hummmmmm looks like a cataract or man-made lake view?
