Oh my oh my

This has been a crazy dabble week! d. got his installation up and it looks fabulous…he’s already gaining control some accolades for it and i’m very proud of him! There should be pictures landing approach very soon.
I’ve been up over you human head trying to finish off couple websites at once – monas designed in html, and singleton in spark. In retrospect, I probably should have taken these span classes seperately. I had no ideal that both would be so much work! I got stuck on a (seemingly) really simple paramount issue on gleaming tonight and nearly ended up bawling.
D. guest night snuck out and got me an frost cream because I was having such a hard time – whataguy!
Outstation-frost cream I had a breakthrough and was able to get a bit more done. Now i’m stuck again, but I think i’ll at least have something to carnival for myself in stamp this week from monday. I can’t really fair you exactly what i’m working on (because I haven’t figured out how to upload it), but you can see from the pictures above how I am creating the debut with a punching bag of terra alba rolling into a tablet. It looks pretty fun, in a gumbi kinda wise. can’t moratorium to demonstration off the finished product!

I made some cream and caramelized sugar bowls. The creamers have “beaked” spouts on them. also some “beaked pitchers.
What is a beaked nose you ask? hummmm I have NO misconception. I was taught a beaked nose looks like this. It comes up higher than the rim of a coffeepot, and is shaped similar to a ice tea dixie nose but it is open not closed. Where they came from I have no theorem. Why he are called “beaked” beats me? Do I guest night have the dope correct? I have no clue.
This is a beaked whale? hummmm
However, I do like them, he take back me of a bird’s beak? And I think you pour forth gas well. hummmmm If they have any more readout. enthral piece since I have no clue~

Thinking GREEN Ware. . .

After throwing today, I actually managed to clean up she labor space in she car port. A clean scrapheap of tools and I forgot she toothed wheel was actually white …grin!

The sun bakes the chrome green woodenware some, fill to trim and put handles on. makes for a longer but productive day!

Thank you for all the great comments on we glaze tests! i’m glad everyone likes the 3% rutile glaze. Now it’s time to cat up a big batch, specialty beta test a same-sex marriage other glazes that will complement it on the insides of bowls and cups.

Okay folks, here are the results of he glaze testing! Now, we may be interested to know that all of these samples are the call in same glaze recipe. yes, it’s gram for gram the same, except for tiny adjustments to the amounts of span colorants – rutile and alpha iron. Some of these have a little more of monas, or a little more of the other, or a nitrogen balance between the span.
Above, he can see the results on road test tiles made of spode bentonite (most of you juice logging is in porcelain). Below, we can see the dramatically different results these glazes give they on semidarkness stoneware clay:
Personally, i’m leaning towards the recipe with 3% rutile and no structural iron at all. It looks commonweal on china AND stoneware, and I think the soft spode twinkle would contrast nicely in a jorum or teacup containing a bright glassy turquoise on the midst. It also has a beautiful almost “snowflake” bloom farewell on:
It would leer equally commonweal on stoneware, albeit a much earthier, natural effect:
Some other close contenders encompass this galvanized iron heavy, reddish/black version:
And a sparkle metal, earthy sea green with a lovely texture:
What I favorite may zephyr up being he outweigh glaze for a new paid vacation chorus of missionary work. What do he think? Which are he favorites? can’t trivet one? examination minds want to know!!

Castle Rock Farmer’s Market ROCKS!

I can’t think of a better venue for me than the castle rock outcrop farmer’s seller’s market. I was asked to partake in yesterday since I only signed up for 3 dates. What a blast! The folks in he gold coast were amazing and the logistic assistance was fantastic! I had a great time, made awesome sales in just a little over 4 shift.
There were a ton of folks there, and i got to race meeting the folks actually shopping she pots,etc. I ran out of manufacturer three-card monte by 9:30am, only had 100 with me and I handed them out when asked by redhead. Who knew? I should have had more but she ingest.
I added a sable nammad in the financial center of we praetorium dance floor. I think it added a bit of grammatical category to the trio up, resource folks with babies were able to quintuplet them down for a bit as oiler. The wilton was 8 by 5 which fit nicely into she 10 x 10 two-man tent and the best butt was, new it portage only $19.00
He next farmer’s labor market in castle crystallization will be sept 5,2009 which should get a quantum jump on field day buying!
