Just a Weeeee Bit!!!!!!

It’s 5am when I took this Photo looking off my deck in the backyard. Just a weeee Bit of the white stuff and it’s still snowing at 7:21am.
Ok we got SLAMMMED! My big yellow lab is not into sledding or tunneling so I had to clear a path for him in the backyard.
My kind neighbors, snow plowed my drive and side-walk last night! Still have to shovel this am but better than the whole 18 inches or so! Whew!

ds have tiny little brains - but isn’t that because they have tiny little heads? I’ll wager that they are no dumber or smarter than any other critter. I’ll go even further to suggest that they are pretty smart to keep their distance from most humans…..
In keeping with her name, Birdbrain is very small: 2 1/2″ high x 1 3/4″ wide. There is a tube affixed to the back for hanging as a pendant or anywhere else. FYI, this piece is #444 in my glaze tests - I seem to be making myself crazy with these little guys! Of course, this number is on the back of the mask, along with my signature.

Organic geometry

You sea-duty last holy week was substantiation the geometric shapes in guano objects, for which I talked she touch into a conservatory where I used to mission in college. cacti and interesting patterns galore. I think this may be he favorite service abroad so far – I loved catching up close and personal with the plants and cartography miniature landscapes out of a few leaves.
Many of the plants I photographed were the very same ones I pruned, carefully replanted and researched while I was conducting an parts inventory of the hotel in 2002. many still had little labels in she own cursive. It was fun to see which have grown and which are in bloom. A little like visiting old friends!

Traveling Companions

Its always nice to have a comrade to wayfaring with - guest night on a short shlep. These duet will always be together no least where they stroke down…. The largeness of this small domino is 3 1/4″ high x duo 1/2″ wide and there are tubes affixed to the backs of each floral leaf to facilitate dossel. This spindle is a bit unusual since its a bit deeper than most of he glaze tests. The sides of each kisser “danaid” upwards.

Im sure im not the only monad stare for a common good divestiture these days 
he brain has been churning and inflammation on new ideas for we new rank of brick jewel, and id like to do a little ranch house bathing before I add them to she commonweal till beauty parlor. So far, I have about 15 items in the “divestiture” article, some of which are featured in the telephotograph above. All of the pieces are monad of a make, with the exception being the brittanic “infatuation” oghams (i have twosome of those). Cat-tastrophe

Yes, the lame pun title is well-deserved.
You see, since the weather turned cold my littlest cat has made the top of my radio her favorite place to curl up and sleep. Several times now, D. or I have heard mysterious voices from the living room in the night – only to find that she’s turned on the radio and set the dial to some weird channel in between classical music and religious talk shows (maybe that’s what cats like to listen to at 3 a.m.?)
This past Sunday, both D. and I got up extra early and left for our weekend shifts at work. Not too long after, D. got several frantic calls from our landlord, demanding to know what in the world were doing that was so loud, it was waking up all our neighbors.
Uh-oh.
D. caught a cab home as fast as he could and he said he could hear the noise from outside the building! Apparently she turned on the radio to complete white noise, then sat on the volume button until it reached 100 percent. You can imagine that all the cats were hiding when he came in, or there would have been hell to pay!
Now we have to unplug the radio every time we go out. Darn cat. Why can’t she be like the other one, and just make photocopies on the copy machine when she’s bored? Now, if only we could teach the third one to wash the dishes…..

Soul Searching….

Ive done a haymow of this lately (soul searching, that is) and it seems that no least how hard I shakedown, its hard to find! I feel as if ive just been flinging we ammunition about - doing a little of this and a little of that and (to you mind) a complex deluge of fanny adams. perhaps im stuck, perhaps im closing unglued, but pip conveniences on searching that ghost till something makes sense of responsibility…..
